Here at The Lighting and Interiors group we are constantly on the look out for new trends and we invest a lot of our time listening to our customers to ensure we can provide you with a wide range of lighting products that are relevant, on trend and we know you will love as much as we do!
A major part of our design process and also where all of our new ranges begin, is with research and inspiration. This year, our design team members Tammy and Amy set off on an adventure to the Milan trade show in April to fuel their AW18 creativity - both armed with their note books and comfy shoes!
In the design world Italy is always ahead of the trend and the Milano Salone del Mobile proved no different and did not disappoint!
Tammy and Amy have shared some of their favourite products and trend finds for us below.
Oversized Chandeliers - The sheer number of jaw dropping chandeliers on display blew our designers away. So sparkly, so pretty and so absolutely, ridiculously, WOW-ingly MASSIVE.
Multiples Displays - Less is definitely not more with this trend. More is definitely more! Multiple pendants, shades, levels and layers were a key trend at this years show.
Mixed Materials - Mixed finishes and materials will definitely be a growing trend over the next couple of seasons. Metal mixed with wood, glass with metal and much more were on display. Metallics, such as brushed gold, mixed with calming pastel shades were also stars of the show!
